Leicester's Wood Rams Home Point To Leeds United's New Board

Well you can't blame Warnock for this one - though the travelling fans did. Old Big Gob identified Chris Wood as a target but couldn't land him because the new Board weren't prepared to compete financially with little old Leicester City. And the result?

Wood fired Leicester to a stunning four goal victory at Bristol City, with a first half hat-trick, whilst Leeds surrendered pathetically at lowly Barnsley. If you don't speculate, you don't accumulate. And it is looking as if GFH Capital are trying to do it on the cheap. Has Bates really sold the club? Nothing seems to have changed!

Leicester meanwhile are on a real role and are genuine contenders for an automatic promotion place now, whilst Leeds have slumped back into mid table with even Burnley above them. So much for the big take over!

And, not that West Ham's performance has anything to do with Leeds sliding back down the table, if you really want to read my views on our pathetic performance, follow this link:

  10. As one of the missing 6000 ( soon to increase after another Oakwell disgrace ), we need to listen to WH, we are beyond poor at present. Nothing seems to change, the NW aftermatch interview says it all - the sooner we get 45 points the better, to say the club is a shambles would be an improvement on how I feel tonight.
And yes WH keep up he banter, but remember NW says he has one or two lined up...................well Woods lined up four today!!!!

  20. "You're a dip shit"

PS good win for Sunderland at the weekend, strolling to 3 points with ease! Could be that any team from 11 place down could be pulled in the relegation fight, what with only being 2 winds and a draw away from 18th.
