Dexter to join serial killing of Leeds United?

Who needs the Yorkshire Ripper when you have 'Norman' Bates, GFH Capital Punishment and Dexter?

Leeds fans were getting excited yesterday by the news that a three quarters of a million pound bid had been made for the Forest striker, but it is looking more and more likely that he is being targeted to replace rather than compliment the free scoring Becchio.

Sky Sports belatedly picked up on Mick Jones' warning that players could leave this window, and Becchio's possibly imminent departure occupied the boards yesterday. One problem, of course, is that Forest do not want to sell Dexter.

But keep an eye on QPR. If 'Arry lands a target, don't be surprised to see one of their abundance of second rate strikers heading to Elland Road, either on loan or a permanent deal. As soon as one arrives, Becchio could be off!

Blackstock? Yep the Leeds stock will fall still further if Dexter or DJ Campbell replace Becchio!

  6. I just don't see it, this is Becchio's best season ever at 29 years of age, yes he's got 19 goals in the championship, but I don't think his form would translate to the prem, he wouldn't even be up to the standard of a Grant Holt or Ricky Lambert calibre player. Its' all rumour and hearsay atm, nothing concrete.

  8. Can't be chewed to read your latest shite but it DOES tend to reinforce the belief that not only are Leeds United an obsession with you to the point where it's become an addiction, there's also a great deal of jealousy. Even a nuetral weighing up the potential of both Leeds and w,ham would agree that Leeds are a sleeping giant, whereas w,ham are more of a sleeping tramp on a park bench with only memories to keep going. Infact i would like to correct those that say w,ham play in claret blue. Claret yes,but the other bit has the tinge of meths about it. Best ask your mam though.

  12. seems that many another teams blogs etc spend many a waking hour talking about leeds united .
its seems that leeds united are a big enough club to still be getting some air play or tv time .
To be honest Becchio has his plus points he is scoring quite well at the moment but he has his really bad points ,he has no pace .my opinion and that of other leeds fans is that Becchio could be replace ,the only thing your right about is its not by cambell or blackstock ..
Just though for the record Warnock admits he has tried to sign him whilst at other clubs so it would have to be a good amount of money to prize him away from leeds ..
But that is the same at other clubs and not just leeds everyone has a price ask NEWCASTLE WITH BA and everton with fellaini

  13. Does it not worry you that Leyton Orient and Millwall get more comments on their fan blogs than you w,ham blog? Shouldn't a person quit when they're beaten or not very good at what they do?

  14. Didnt warnock say only a week ago we won't sell players unless he wanted them to go?bechio will not go,he signed a new contract in the summer?so it looks like he doest want to go,bechio has been the most loyal player at Leeds since hes arrived, don't listen to some west ham fan who try's to make us worry,I can't remember one story he's wrote that has come true, all a load of bollocks from a cockney cunt, yeah teams might bid for bechio but unless any bid is over 6 million I can't see warnock even taking it seriouse,he knows we need him,he said that himself, its good to have 2-3 players who are wanted by big clubs, but dont forget, they all signed 3+ year contracts in the summer,oh and btw mate, who's west hams top scorer?Cole?Carroll?Vaz te? hahaha none of them are premiership quality this season mate, heard that fat sam is off to take over at barnsley aswell....

  16. This is what Mick Jones said “We need players to come in who are as good if not better than those who are coming out. The one thing about the manager is that he will not sign anyone for the sake of it.

“As far as I know, the owners are thinking the same as Neil. We want good players at the club to supplement what we have got and then make a charge.

“There are a lot of enquiries and phone calls going on. The only problem is that when Leeds United come on the phone, finances double or treble in some cases. In one case in particular, we were talking £1.5million more than the real valuation. But it is Leeds on the phone. We have got to understand that."

  19. I like your reports they are provocative and sometimes entertaining. However one comment above is absolutely spot on in asking why you have not remarked on the recently published accounts. The Square Ball website has an in depth analysis which reveals far more about the rotten state of the club that Bates has left. This should give you far more ammunition to wind up us Leeds fans than silly comments about transfer speculation. Every player has a price is what Jones was saying, but you are correct in that storm clouds are gathering over ER once again.

  22. 11.52 he is yet another person with a very valid point, surely you must have something else to do at that time in the morning than research are great club, and then you have to find a picture, then think about how to word your blog so it gets you the attention you crave so much.I dont get it,why,it all seems very petty to me.
