Leicester Need Di Canio!

The Foxes need to stop the rot. Quit the messing. Kick out Pearson: he is a yard dog manager. What has he ever achieved? He wasn't good enough first time around so why did the Board ever give him a second chance?

Leicester are in desperate need of inspiration. Appoint Il Duce Di Canio and play off qualification would be guaranteed; prevaricate any longer and Bolton or Brighton may just catch them.

Every week has seen Leicester slip further and further behind the teams at the top. Even with Hull and Watford losing, and Palace not playing, Leicester have still managed to fall further behind in the "race".

This is a shit division but, under Pearson, Leicester are still shitter than five teams in the division. Surely enough is enough. Pearson has to go!

    1. Quite. The Mussolini loving self-absorbed tosser comes to City then I will give up for the duration of his managership. I have been a fan since 1973.

  3. What a load of rubbish, instead of putting Pearson and the team down get behind them! All teams have a bad patch and ours is now which is not good!!! However football Is a funny thing and you know what the points v Leeds and Cardiff may just be very crucial!!!! So support don't put the team down!!! As for me I will support until the end and will never stop doing that!!!!

  5. There has been a lot of 'knee-jerk' reaction out there from so called supporters calling for Pearson's head whenever results don't go the way we'd like them to ... so there's nothing new here. We should all be able to recognise that Nigel Pearson is a decent man working hard to deliver what we all want & I believe that if you really want to build a club that you can be proud of then you should stick by decent, honest hard-working staff particularly when the going gets tough! We are in a trough right now, no doubt about it, but we should be standing shoulder to shoulder for the rest of the season & not looking round with a pointed finger ready looking for someone to blame

    1. Absolutely well said, I have been following leicester since 1966 and have seen a great deal of ups and downs throughout that period (posssibly more downs than ups) but pearson is, as you quite rightly say a decent man who is doing is his best and the club and the supporters should get behind the team when things get tough as well as when they are good. He now got rid of the prima-donnas and the team is working well for each other, this dip won't last for ever.

  7. The article was posted by 'Hammersfan' so I can understand why it's full of absolute nonsense. I know the owners will want promotion this season, as do the supporters, but personally I'm just happy that Pearson has got rid of the players with egos such as Matt Mills and Jermaine Beckford. Yes, some of the replacements haven't been great (Jamie Vardy has struggled to make the step-up for example) but players like Marshall, de Laet, Drinkwater, Knockaert, James and Wood are all still young and have plenty of potential. I think our mistake has been not signing a more experienced central midfielder to play alongside Drinkwater/King/James. We have Wellens but he's only just started to regain fitness during the last few months and is past his best.He can still do a half decent job when fully fit though.
