Billy Davies shows Warnock and Leeds how to do it!

Nottingham Forest completed a miserable day for Leeds despite their lucky 1-0 win over Millwall. Whilst Leeds have squeaked victories in two home games against very modest opposition and drawn away, Forest have won away twice and achieved a hugely impressive six goal victory at home.

Warnock wanted three games to change the world, but at the end of those games, nothing much has changed. Brighton are six points ahead of Leeds, Middlesbrough five, and Forest have overtaken them. All three teams have a better goal difference than Warnock's team, and there are now three less games for Leeds to close the gap. Meanwhile, Bolton are suddenly sitting on Leeds' shoulder.

Warnock promised a gung-ho approach, but in those three games, Leeds have only managed three goals, and one of those was a penalty. Are they missing Becchio? The evidence suggests yes!

And now Leeds face games at Leicester and Crystal Palace whilst Forest have back to back home games against Ipswich and Wolves. If Leeds are still in touch by the time they next play at home, Warnock will have earned that statue!

  1. As a lifelong Leeds fan I have to totally agree with you. The playoffs are out of reach, Warnock is in the last chance saloon hoping for a miracle. If he pulls this off I´ll build the statue, somewhere that has lots of pigeons.

  2. Not a statue for you mate but if then I promise that it will be made of paper stuff. it is called BTW Finnish "paska haisee rahalle" not even Google can translate that one boy. Tare

  3. A miserable day would have been dwawing or losing. Without the last three games Leeds would not be still in the hunt for the play offs-which they are.
So please author , go get a big dog up you.

  4. I think I now can see why you write these bitter blogs aboout Leeds.
    The facts are straight forward.
Leeds may go up this season.
West Ham may go down this season.

This is all you have to look forward to.
You are a bitter jealous man because your season is over and Leeds' is very much alive and interesting.

    1. The facts are, West Ham are strong odds on to be in the Prem next season, Leeds are long odds against! The facts are, we are 9 points clear of the bottom three whilst you are 5 points light of the last play off place and 16 points shy of an automatic promotion place! You want to talk facts? Let's talk them!

    2. Yeah, talk about the one you ignored. Leeds Season is very much alive and interesting and your season is over.
      Let's talk about that!

  5. Great Article! You are correct for the first time ever. Leeds are an terrible team with little chance of ever making the premier league. As apposed to Forest who are world beaters!!!

  6. The three games you refer to have all yielded a clean sheet. This is the most important stat.

A good precursor going into the last 12 games which, as you pointed out recently, if Leeds draw the away's and win the homes and it should be enough.
Oh and in terms of the garbage you write, you have at various times described Leeds as 'the championship team you support' and 'the team you loath'. This is why you have no credibility.

    1. Correction, the team I "follow" in the Championship. It is true that I have "warmed" a little to Leeds this season, but I would cut off my right hand before reaching for a Leeds scarf! Mind you, the new owners would probably do that for me if I hadn't paid for it!

    2. Too right they would mate! You Cockney feeves gotta keep ya sticky fingers orf fings ya daaarn't pay fer!

    2. Stop talking to yourself, Hammersfan. Its getting really tiresome now. At least give yourself a silly name like Appy Ammer or Dagenham Dave or something.

  8. You don't understand much do you? Had West Ham beaten Stoke 1-0 at Upton Park, it would have been a decent result, but winning at the Britannia 1-0 was a superb result.

What was the Leeds result when you went to Sheffield Wednesday? 1-1. Oh, and let's not forget that your fans used the game to eulogise Jimmy Savile, to abuse a grandfather in front of his grandchild, and one of your supporters attacked the Wednesday keeper.

Mind you, your basic facts are wrong too. Sheffield Wednesday are fifth from bottom, they were in the bottom three, however, when you needed a Tonge equaliser to get a draw there. Now who is the "stupid man"?

The point is, Forest are winning home and away, Leeds are only winning at home and are only doing so narrowly. There has been no change of form. You have had three easy games against teams out of form: Blackpool under Ince, Blackburn with injuries and minds distracted by the FA Cup, and the toothless Lions.

The worry is that in those three games you have only scored three goals, one of which was a penalty. Include the Middlebrough and Man City games when you were goalless, and you have scored 3 in 5 games! Some surge in form!

  11. 7 points from 9 and three clean sheets,
this is the form we need to go up....

  12. West Ham 3 points from 12 - soon to be 3 points from 15. Even the worst sides scrape a point or two here and there particularly against weak opposition.

You should survive the drop but it's no forgone conclusion! I wouldn't be counting your chickens just yet looking at your run in.

The question is where do you go from here? No money, no cop out from the debt by blagging the Olympic stadium. Next season could be very telling - you don't survive in the Prem long term holding on by your finger nails. You were very lucky to win your playoff game and get into the Prem and you're living on borrowed time and banked good fortune. It won't last and is just a little bit boring isn't it - hence your unhealthy Leeds obcession.

By contrast Leeds have everything to play for and are relatively debt free - the only way is up. Which way will it be for the Hammers with the current squad, owners and manager?

  13. well if them jokers from london beat the MIGHTY stoke city then Real and Barca best be careful !!!!

  14. What a ranting tirade that was. You really are easy to wind up !
In their last three games Forest have beaten 3 piss poor teams.
How in any way can this be 'Showing Warnock how its done'
All that showed was 3 poor teams can be beaten.
Only in your stupid mind can this equate to lessening the performance of Warnock over the last 3 games.
Oh and by the way, Blackburn and Blackpool were two of your 'certainties for promotion' when you made that prediction 5 games into the season

  15. Didn't forest lose at home to millwall 1-4? For a facts man Hammersfan, you seem to leave out a lot of them

  17. Friendless wifeless ghastly cockney mongrel. Even his dog hates him. Go back up clapham common for your weekly anal treat! Blow some more bubbles in the public convenience. I for one , personaly dont mind too much been in the championship.slowly making progress to build a decent side thhat can sustain premiership status. Once we do get back to the top flight we will be far more successful than west ham. Where can fat sam actually go? Eventually he ll be sacked west ham will never do anything in europe because there crooked chairman(like ours at yhe moment) will take everything out the pot. Its been done brfore. We have a great set of kids coming through. Mix that with some experience and the right manager we wont be far off next year. Onwards and upwards for me. MOT. This retarded biscuit brain mentioned our fans behaviour against sheff wed. How do your fans perform when milwall show up? Delusional friendless mungral. My friend is a napoli fan a few years ago his father was attacked hes 60 my mates 33 . Some tough bubble blowers beat them both up outside a pub after a pre season game a few years ago before the police could intervine. Every club has its nutters but in my opinion you mr hammers should be the patron. Chief bell end!

  18. Leeds are wank, that's why forest beat you 4.2 and 3.7 in the space of a year I enjoyed those sweet 11 goals flying in. Forest are the best team to play at our ground this season and we was 7 unbeaten until last night. Forest can only beat who they play and right now they are flying unlike the Leeds scum. Kirkland must laugh at your scum bag supporters, your a joke to football.

  19. You have notting to lose hammersfan. If leeds dont make the playoffs were shite . If we do make the playoffs were lucky. Which ever way its goes your on a winner.why?. Simple because you know everthing about football. And the rest of us are just leeds fans. But one thing i do know we only care about one club; LUFC.

  20. Not being funny HF but 0840 and 0846 made a right fool of you there, son. Even though you've been on the response offensive last 24 hours (presumably due to an incredible result away at Stoke who were absolutely appalling yesterday btw) I can see no comeback this time!

  21. Hi Dude
    Yeah you are right.
Listened to the game on 5 live and Danny Mills said both teams were way off PL quality. They was hardly any football played as usual and an extreme lack of quality on show. For Warnock to keep fans thinking there is a chance of promotion is a great lie and is a result of all the mismanagement, lack of investment over the past few years and Warnocks stifling tactics- you always reap what you sow...

Good luck for the rest of the season for the Hammers, next season will be harder for you - 2nd season back always seems to be for most teams...

    Cheers

  28. The truth is,we have to get maximum points at leicester and forest, and hope brighton and boro drop points.again like every fucking season,we r relying on other teams.

    1. Errm I dont know if i should tell you this... Oh why not, you played at Forest on Boxing Day and lost 4-2!

      Delete
    2. The TRUTH is all season long you hope the other teams above you drop points. Its not essential that they do this in the next two games to stop Leeds going places.
We can only focus on us.
If we win 9 out of our last 12 we will do it. Thats what's needed. If one of the teams above us between 8th and 6th do the same then all power to them, however these'runs' tend to come from only one team around this time, so, our fate is in our own hands.

  30. Forest normally play well against the mighty whites.lets face it,it is ur cup final, along with all the other championship clubs who raise their game playing us.nottingham.what a shit hole

    ReplyDelete
  31. Forest fans make me laugh chirping over a freak result and a fair win. Still if you put it as aggregate scores since we got back into the Championship by our own hard work and not relying on other teams getting a points deduction. Then you will find we are 16-15 ahead on aggregate and you've beaten us twice in 14 attempts. End of fool.
