Leeds Owners GFH Show Their Intent In January Window

So how much was spent then? Warnock Junior was on a free. Morison came with an adjustment of money. And Haribo is on loan.

Hang on. So the new owners cashed in during the January window!

Clever or what?

  2. Sounds like three pretty astute signings to me. Becchio wanted out so it wasn't cashing in, Leeds had no choice.
Praise to the new regime for securing just the few players that we needed to strengthen the squad without throwing away cash.
Hammersfan, despite all your shit stirring, we are still on the up and up in the Championship, still in the F A Cup and still enjoying our season.
You on the other hand, Mr. Bitter Balls, have nothing to look forward to this season but hoping the Sad Hammers avoid the drop.

  8. Warnock junior, soon as i heard leeds came in for me it was a no brainer, they are much bigger than the other clubs that were interested in me!! Morison & cash ( leeds win hands down on that deal) habibou unknown but v good scoring record, & played at some big clubs! All in all, well done gfh & warnock senior, just lacking an out & out winger, hammers gone bust yet?

  9. I'd be more worried about west hams intent during this window. Hardly inspiring considering their league position and a treatment room with standing room only. On the subject of treatment........

  11. Who of any value did West Ham buy. Emergency loan window next week. I would not be surprised if more players are taken in its open period.

Anyhow, I would not give NW money he would buy more OAPS. Wait till summer get rid of NW and buy players of quality that the new guy wants.

  12. ha ha i see you bottled my question on the huddersfield, your silence speaks volumes....just like westhamutd you have turned a blind eye to the racists who attend your once proud club...one huddersfield fan kick out for a Nazi salute.......2,000 westhamutd fans do Nazi salutes......not one kicked out..........your club and you have let the nation down....potty mouth...sad.

  13. No see what that is, its clever business! We've got 3 good players no money spent unlike west ham who spend a fortune on shit! Have fun mocking but your fascination with leeds is freakishly wierd!

  14. Warnock was NOT free
You also conveniently overlook (or did not research) that fees were paid for Tonge and Hall
Diouf was signed on an extended contract, as was Sam Byram
Morison and Habibou were also added to the squad
Looks like a decent amount of business to someone looking without a negative and biased perspective

Follow this link and read what it has to say. Then you will realise that what has happened at Leeds is more good business than a lack of intent. We don't need another Ridsdale era at Leeds.

  16. Wow this is getting boring. The fact that I am commenting on this blog is merely encouraging you to make more posts. I bet you sit around like a giddy school girl seeing all the Leeds fans commenting on here. Pathetic really.

  18. Your up at 6am for this? Your first thought of the day. Should we all as Leeds fans chip in and buy you a bride as you clearly need to let something out one way or the other. Definitely a contender for the Jezza Kyle show.

  23. Yes that's right war nock came on a free as Aston villa wanted to cut their wage bill.

  25. Have to agree with you made money with Morrison Warnock on free and haribo on loan where is icing on the cake there judge me after the window NW said Harvey working hard NW said if you, consider we sent Tate back finished a few other contracts the new owners are squids in we must have got the only Arabs with loads of sand but no money will not be setting foot in ER for a long time e thinks not gonna pay good money to watch more shite

    1. Made money with becchio deal but got a better player ... Extended and raised diouf and byrams contract which will have been more money than the deadwood we released typical armchair fan looking for an excuse not to go already only thing that disappointed me this window is Burke deal falling through

    2. Stay at home, in fact the spammers are looking for fans, why don't you join them, we don't need armchair moaners like you.

  26. Lets see who West Ham brought in – a player unable to crack it at Liverpool, another failed at Arsenal and a Brazilian striker yet to feature for the club??? At least all of our players will improve the squad at Leeds - West Ham on the other had have just taken a massive gamble which probably wont pay off..... The bottom 3 awaits Ha!

  33. This is the cleverest piece of business carried out for a long time. When are people going to understand that chucking loads of money at over paid over rated players is not the answer. We already have a decent squad that only needed a tweak here and there and that has now been done without busting the bank. Football is like any other business, you buy and sell according to your budget, and you don’t go into debt on a whim particularly on footballers who can play one game and then spend the rest of the season on the treatment table. 1. Great bit of business me thinks and we have got two players in who's last transfer fees were a combined total of 8.8 million not that long ago plus cash for a player we got on a freebie. We didn't need a massive overhaul and we kept all our best players and I reckon we should be good enough to break into the top 6 now. I reckon the armchairs will be moaning that we didn't spend 20 million, but I am more than happy and it was only a few years ago we were getting Jason Crowe on a freebie from Northampton at left back and barn door Billy up front

  34. We Cockneys are leaving the smoke in droves and heading to Yorkshire where the fans are real men and have a unique sense of humour blended with a hint of sarcasm.
How on earth can a side assembled with no money, absolutely destroy spurs who keep us spammers firmly in our place and in the wilderness of medioracy.
Leeds United we salute you...you can tell a yorkshireman...but you cant tell him much.

  35. It's just a shame your posts aren't written on paper that way we could show our appreciation of your literary prowess. Your standard of writing is of a bog wall level but the comments are hilarious and well worth a read. You've actually been murdered by the people commenting on here, total and utter humiliation. Why do you continue to make yourself look stupid? You can't even correct spelling and grammar mistakes without making a dozen yourself. Even your family and what few friends you have must think you're a tool and an embarrassment. Aren't you going to tell us what happened to the person you say was threatening you and who had an 11am knock on the door? Alter Mitty.

  36. I'd rather Morison play for us than against us and we have probably got a bargain there and how many England left backs from the last world cup squad were up for grabs yesterday? Habibou is an unknown quantity, so a loan deal makes sense. All in all we had a decent transfer window for a change with a fair bit of dead wood gone and only our want away striker leaving.

  39. Hammersfan what is the matter with you, are you a little moron, you suffer humiliation at school, you suffered it in your youth, and now you masocist, you get up a blog to suffer it in your adult life. My advice is, stop using you're hand and get a blow up doll, it will give you something to do in your spare time. Regards.

  40. Oh hammersfan, all that business and guess what, we still have no debt, I think life could get any better, by the way hows the debt at wet spam going, looks like thats the only thing that will be going up as far as you're concerned, that's if you even manage to stay in the prem.

  42. If this doe,snt work out...ie three freebies to what sounds a good deal for the new owners.God help warnock who,s quoted judge me after the window closes.Still feel we have some pace at the back and what looks like pace at the front. But the middle field and Wings lacking anything, this could mean Hoofball for the forseeable future.Lets hope Donald duck gets a runout while Mickey Mouse screams the orders........IN COMMING.
