Leeds 0 QPR 1 - Class is permanent, history is...well, history

I know it must be McGalling but, when two teams take to the field of play, what happened in the previous McCentury really has no bearing on the McOutcome. 'Arry talked up the Leeds of yore but when asked about the club's prospects of making it to the Prem inside the next two years was pretty damn disdainful. And that was before today's McVictory!

You have to feel sorry for the Leeds McFaithful. They were getting genuinely excited, and with the Mighty McCormack signing a McContract to keep him in McDonalds for the next four years, everything in the garden was suddenly coming up McRoses before today's McGame. And then along came Mc'Arry to pop the bubble and derail the McFeelgood McFactor McExpress to the English Prem.

Once again, Leeds looked McToothless going forward when up against decent opposition and this first McDefeat of the season puts everything into perspective - because one win from three home games really isn't the form of promotion contenders.

Where will Leeds be come the end of the afternoon? Seventh? Eighth? Ninth? Or lower? So much, it seems for the McDermott McRevolution!

And yes, I admit it, I was wrong. This Leeds team are not as good as I McThought they were!

  6. At least we have got something to play for. Lets be honest westham are just making up the numbers never finishing in the top 5 for Europe & never winning league or cups very exciting for u. No wonder you put all your energy into leeds utd

  7. Not as good as - It should read: total shite. No attacking flair, no wingers, can´t defend from set pieces or score when they get one, shite gate - only 23,000, against a team tipped to be champions and Leeds could have gone top with a win. Varney - Hunt - MIA again, and by the way Ross enjoy your pay rise.

  18. Yes we did, which is better than losing. Oh, and we won at Loftus Road. You can't now take 4 points out of 6 off them. So what is your point exactly?

  19. I agree for once.i thought we looked very nervous.we looked a midtable side today.

  20. Somebody's biting!

  21. That QPR side should walk away with auto promotion. McD is doing a decent job with the side we have as it stands and we can only get better. Plus this time we're not selling our better players and we have a good few promising young 'uns coming through. Keep watching Hammer...keep watching....

  29. Hardly "Classy", Rangers came for a point and nicked a win from a set piece which I agree was hopelessly defended against.
I think Stoke showed a bit of class today though...

  37. I am constantly amazed by the tripe...

Part of me tries to look past the somewhat strange hatred you have for Leeds and look for some merit in your 'journalism/blogging' ability. I think it is pieces like this that hightlight your inability to write anything credible.
Lets start witht he title of this piece:

Leeds 0 QPR 1 - Class is permanent, history is...well, history

Ok, 'so class is permanent' - QPR went up last season then fell back into the championship, definately not a semblence of permanance there...

'History is... well, history' - May I ask about West Hams history? Yes Leeds like to look back to their past glory days, but I guess thats why you don't like to look back, because West Ham don't really have any glory days?

But lets flip the argument around, as Leeds fans we are coming out of a depressing 10 years and there is optomism abound that we are looking promising, with a whole host of young talent from our academy looking to drive us on.

    West Hams future looks like...

    Long ball over the top
Mid - Bottom of the Prermiership
    Relegation battle
    No trophies

Oh and what was todays score with Stoke, I missed it?
But does that mean Stoke are Class, your article seems to suggest it... beaten by Mark Hughes, ouch.

  38. Where's the west ham willy smoker gone???
Got nothing to say now that Stoke have done you.
I was thinking, maybe you should write up on what happens with your shit club instead, but then it dawned on me you wouldn't even have a blog cos nothing of interest happens at that shithole

  39. Stoke city? Hardly title challengers are they Neville?

  40. for all qprs expensive squad, there was nothing between the teams today. if paddy had cleared the ball they wouldnt have scored.also if rudy austins shot had gone in it would have been a fair result. we will get better no worries. TOSSER.

  41. Given you guys seem at least as interested in West Ham as you are in Leeds, you can check out my report on a truly awful performance by following this link:

    2. Thing is your shite at what you do and you don't interest any west ham fans on your blog, so to me that speaks volumes about the opinions your fellow fans have on you! What has it been like to go through so many years of having such a limited amount of friends and family that actually give you the time of day? X

  42. Well done chaps. You've forced Dr Weevil into giving Wet Spam a mention. Shamed him into something he plainly hasn't got time for, given his Leeds obsession. Well done indeed!

    1. your just as sad as him. leeds fan or not. I have read your posts about how "normal" it is to hate other humans who follow a different football team. get a life you shallow idiot. racism exists in many different forms and you and "hammersfan" are prime examples of that.

  43. Once again spam dangler for the 2 week running, I've asked you what you thought the west ham outcome would be and you have ducked it again, why I ask? I am only asking your opinion which you are happy to give about other clubs!? Superstition has nothing to do with the fact you are scared on denting your ego! Remind me how you did?

  44. More interesting blog than your long, tedious, melancholic ramblings of the Revie era Rob! ancient history indeed....!

  45. 18:04-nothing between them? Er 1 goal,no point about Kenny clearing it or Austin hitting the post. OR bartons' goal wrongly ruled offside

  46. well I didn't see this blog coming? you had to wait a few games to wank off didn't you hammersfan? well at least its a change from telling us ( about ten times) that Ross McCormack was on his way out the door. Any news about your beloved West Ham me old mate? or is everything still rosey at Upton Park?

    ReplyDelete
  47. class is permanent, history is well... history? well, you should know. West Ham have neither do they?
