West Ham fans smiling as Sheffield United's slide continues

Pay it back, pay it back, pay it back! I've said it repeatedly, that until Shafting United give back the money extorted over the Tevez affair, Karma (no not Chris, you fools, he broke McAvennie's leg!)will condemn them to the burning agonies of Purgatory.

Things were looking up when Prince Abdullah swing bin Mosaad wheelly bin Abdulaziz Al Saud bought half the club for the less than princely sum of £1 but yet another defeat, this time at struggling Carlisle, has darkened the storm clouds gathering over Bramble Lane.

Poor David Weir has forgotten how to smile. He knows he is holding a poison chalice and that it is only a matter of time before the new owner wields the Sword of Damocles, made, no doubt, from best Sheffield Steel. The trouble is, the Blades are now so blunted that it will probably take a hundred hacks before the miserable Scot's head finally tumbles into the basket; Sharia Law, Sheffield style!

Relegation to the bottom tier of the Football League is now a genuine possibility and with Sheffield United 12 points behind second placed Peterborough, automatic promotion to the Championship is already looking a forlorn dream.

But with Prince Abdullah swing bin Mosaad Dusty bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's riches, the Tevez money could now be repaid, thus ending the nightmare!

  2. Haha thanks again for the money we're now debt free because of it.

By the way shouldn't you be too busy going to the game today to be typing and posting ? Or are you an armchair 'fan'

  4. Everyone knows that the blades just weren't good enough that season. To say Tevez kept west ham up when he was so crap for the majority of the season that he was the reason they were at the bottom of the league was a joke. he couldn't even get into the side. the blades wanted someone else to blame other than themselves. they then kept going and going and going through the courts until finally after hundreds of people knowing it was their own fault and not west ham's, 1 person agreed with them. some judge who is even more detached from reality than david cameron.
It's Karma. It's what goes around, comes around etc etc. No one likes sean bean either.

    2. If you didn't care you would not have read the article or replied.
Was pathetic how the pointless blades acted that season. You were relegated because you were shat not because of Tevez who actually (not through his own fault) caused disharmony in our team and if anything probably cost us points in all

  7. LOL as a West Ham fan it saddens me to see the plight of Sheff United. Never has a club deserved this less than any other after all they have been through! I mean ONE man alone was enough to send them down when West Ham stayed up and look where they are now! Its just a shame as they quite clearly have a divine right to be in the champions league etc yet are fighting not to fall into oblivion.

  11. Let's look at it another way.......if things had been the other way round the Blades would have been deducted points and that is a fact, we know that Brooking had a major influence on the decision not too, so even as a Hammers fan myself........i found it slightly embarrassing because in reality by the rules we have cheated, and we did really get away with it.
But it is all over now we are where we are, the Blades are where they are and it is up to ourselves get success, so for gods sake let's just forget about it as this site is becoming a laughing stock !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  12. First point to make is that any team that is relegated it's because they are not good enough over the full season. As a Sheffield United fan I accept this. However, West Ham broke the rules and were punished. Why were they fined instead of having points deducted? I think it was because at the time the verdict was made, they were looking certs for relegation and a points deduction would have been, well, pointless. Not sure if it was Brooking's influence at all. Anyway, the money doesn't seem to have done us any good, nor loosing it done West Ham any harm. It's history, get over it

  16. Build a bridge and get the f*ck over the Tevez affair, no one and I mean NO ONE gives a shit anymore. Your obsession with us is bizzare to say the least, it happened almost 7 years ago and yet you continue to cling onto it and make out we were somehow the side in the wrong. It's a bit like someone on a SUFC blog writing an article every time Burnley lose, because they beat us in a play-off final where we were denied two 50/50 pens and had a man (perhaps unfairly) sent off. It's just bordering on the insane.

99% of Blades fans don't pin any blame on Tevez and put our relegation down to Warnock and his negative, dinosaur tactics, especially away from home (just a paltry eight goals on the road all season tells its own sorry tale).

I really hope the majority of Hammers aren't like yourself because if they are then bloody hell you must be the most insufferable bunch of nob heads in the country. You're an embarrassment to your club and fellow fans.

    1. In fairness to the blog's author, yours is one of a very very few posts from SU fans that I have ever seen indicating that the blame for relegation lays with Warnock and not Tevez. I think that is absolutely right.
Unfortunately, far from the 99% figure you quote, I sense the majority, egged on by the media would still contend, if asked, that West Ham and Tevez were the reason they were relegated.

  17. I'm a Hammers fan, but Hammersfan you really do have the mental age of a 15 year old sometimes, someone who craves attention, I imagine you were the kind of kid who liked setting fire to stuff just to see the fire engine show up, to enjoy that kind of control, or dream of doing that, instead you came up with a blog to insult people and revel in their misfortune, like lighting a fuse and grinning at the results. I find it's quite common with a number of men, unable to grow up on an emotional level, still stuck in the playground.

  18. Have u raised £100 mill yet so u can move into ursell out stadium get over it we av we got relegated on a refereeing decision that went all the way back to start of season the Gerrard pen that was given for intent even thou he got his shot off and missed not to mention our goal that got disallowed at Upton park

  19. The rules were very unclear at the time and it was a genuine mistake so to deduct points would have been a farce

  21. To say Brooking had an influence on the prem is like saying Richard Caborn (Labour Minister for Sport and Blade fan) had an influence on the court case!! You got me thinking now

  22. What an excellent and thought provoking argument. Well done. Are you a Blade perchance?
