Leeds, Leicester and Nottingham Forest can only dream after QPR's magical window

Wow, talk about a wheeler dealer! Not content with capturing Matt Phillips and the other rag tag bunch of typical 'Arry signings, Redknapp pulled off a last day triple coup, bringing in Kranjcar, Assou-Ekotto and the highly promising Carroll.

What would Reverend Brian give for a player of Kranjcar's ability? I said Phillips was a death knell for all the other would be promotion contenders, but the Croat is in a different class from the former Blackpool man. This guy is, young Ince apart, far and away the most naturally talented player in the division and, providing Redknapp can keep him motivated and fit, he will carve up Championship defences.

Just compare Assou-Ekotto to Warnock meanwhile! The latter couldn't get a sniff at Villa, whilst the former was a regular in a Spurs team that narrowly missed qualification for the Champions League. Quite how he has ended up in the Championship is beyond me.

And Carroll is a real talent too. I saw the lad playing for Tottenham's U21s against Chelsea's boys and he, along with Kane, was a class apart.

Say what you like about Redknapp, the guy knows how to play the transfer market! If QPR don't storm the division now, I will be amazed!

So, as I said before, there's only one automatic promotion place up for grabs this season, because the Hula Hoops are all but home and dry.

Your right you have the best squad in the league by far if you dont win all your games this season it will be seen as a failure.

    You ok wi that Jack?

    1. Leeds have a 2 year plan to get promoted..although I think they can still get to the playoffs especially if Byram returns soon. QPR will no doubt get automatic promotion so in that light Leeds performance against them was'nt too bad.
As I said earler QPR nicked a lucky win from a carelessly defended free kick....

  9. What a complete bellend you are. The title mentions Leicester and Notts Forest, yet you focus on Leeds, again ... So, I get it's a dig at Leeds, which is nothing new from you, but why mention Notts Forest and Leicester in the title, but then fail to mention them in the pile of steaming horse shit you call a post?

I wouldn't be so sure they're home and dry either, plenty of rated, expensive players means nothing, one of the three clubs you mention are evidence of that ... Douchebag!

  11. Of course they are. All that talent. No hope for anybody else is there? I will laugh my socks off if QPR don't get auto promotion.

  12. I will be surprised to if QPR dont get promoted now

  13. And all this from a sad tosser whose team can't do any better than re-signing a player they released 3 months ago for not being good enough.

Sort your own glass house out before slagging off others you obsessive moron.

  15. so, as you said before? qpr will walk this league, we agree ok? you are right, ok? we will finish 8th as you say, ok? we have no money, ok? we have to get by on the players we have, ok? how much more do we have to already know, without you stating the obvious? and more to the point???? when did we say "we are spending big! we will win this league?" never! we know what we are, a "maybe play off team" for gods sake you thick twat, "WE KNOW WHAT WE ARE!!" a maybe team, just like yours! only difference is? we know this but don't "bait" other clubs like you do. why is that? what do you gain from it? let go of your hard cock for a minute and think. "whats the point?" try getting a real life instead of the pretent one you live in now. its for your own good in the end. honestly.

  18. If you don't think leeds are promotion challengers why would you mention them in the same bracket as qpr......oh wait of course blog hits silly me. War nock couldn't get into villas team but also didnt want to go near the west ham team if I remember right.

  19. I agree that QPR should walk away with the championship give the quality they have in depth, you noticed Harry has spent everywhere he goes, makes you wonder if he could do a job on a shoe string budget like we have at Leeds!? I don't think he would take the job unless he could spend! Ekotto is a gud player but not a world beater, was crap at ER! Mind you saying that, Byram had bale in his pocket aswell and that lads done ok for himself!

  21. Rich owners AND handouts from Sky Sports because they were so rubbish last season (bless). Every little helps.

Also if any of their players are doing that well come January prem teams will have them...simples.

  22. Austin 4mil and Philips 5mil, apart from that he has got rid of 18 players and bought in around 10 on loan or free transfers. Amazing work in just 3 months. We have yet to gel and are playing quite poorly imo but still sit joint top. When we eventually get it together, some teams will be in for a real spanking.

    1. 23 out, 9 (including loans) in. And a transfer fee profit of approx £5M over the summer.
Yet idiots still bang on about Portsmouth, who were bankrupted by a pish poor CEO and a succession of corrupt owners.

  25. Lets hope qpr fall flat on there faces..maybe im jealous cockney boy, that we havent a bean to rub together at er.how come sheff utd get a rich sheik, and we get gf fucking h

  26. I expect even the 'mighty' Hammers are jealous of QPR's transfers especially now they're having to eat humble pie and re-sign Carlton Banks 3 months after releasing him, great dancer though he is.
Mind you if and when Harry leaves QPR they may well end up like poor old Pompey. On the evidence of this transfer window there's no danger of that happening at West Ham.

  27. Jack ya getting desperate now and as previous comment says if u don't see Leeds as promotion contenders why mention them

  28. Nev, you are without doubt the laziest feckin journo in the land. FFS, when are you back teaching (sorry lecturing), coz you have way too much time on your hands posting all this shit....or have you been fired on the basis you are shit at that too?

Of course QPR will piss the championship, look how well they did last season in the prem with the millions chucked at em. 5 games in and "mystic twat" is able to predict the outcome of one of the most competitive leagues in the globe.

No offence to QPR, nowt against em, but Harry is a complete waste of space. He can only manage a club who spend millions....fuck me, the FA saw through him. Best English manager my feckin arse! He will more than likely bankrupt the club, but it won't be his fault of course.

You had best worry about Wet Spam staying in the prem, rather than bothering your empty head with the little old championship clubs.

  29. I love the way clubs think that the Rss have spent loads of money. The two main buys in this transfer window reportedly total £9m which I agree is a significant outlay on two players but most of the others that have come in are either on freebies or loans.

Yes we f'd up in the Prem and QPR were a poorly run outfit but I think there has been a step change. Whilst I have my doubts about 'arry in the long-term, I think he has done a shrewd bit of business to move on 18 players and build a decent squad capable of challenging for a return.

Good luck to other teams and look forward to rest of the season...

  30. Good points, but you've still got the same problem as last year, lots of new players and how quickly can they/will they gel? Furthermore, you're still a massive Twunt!

  35. It,s just many moons ago Leeds United got into trouble because of money. In fact gambled on Leeds United getting into the champions league with money they did not have. You know paying of one loan, then taking out another loan with the hopeful proceeds of future success.Well we all know what happened next, don,t we.Now here is the funny bit,i read a little claret section of The Sun today all about something very similar. The loan is likely to be about 70 million with a British Virgin Islands based firm.Any one want to guess the name of the club involved in this loan?
