FA reject Disciplinary Action against West Ham & Millwall after Tottenham and Leeds games

In the case of West Ham, I think that is wrong. Even though I have supported the club all my life, I passionately believe that the anti-Semitism of a section of our fan base has to be addressed. And that will only happen if the FA gets tough and starts deducting points.

The Nazi salutes and hissing to simulate the gas chambers go way beyond what might be termed "banter". It is foul and is deeply insulting to the memory of the 6 million Jews exterminated in the Second World War, and to our own service men who laid down their lives to defeat the evil of Nazi Germany.

So, the FA should have made explicit the punishment for future incidents - and I would favour a deduction of six points unless the club can identify the offenders and ensure that they never attend a West Ham game again. That would ensure that the fans themselves self police, that the right number of stewards are employed at the ground, and that CCTV cameras are trained on the troublesome areas of the ground at all times. Every right thinking West Ham fan wants these animals kicked out forever and as painful as a points reduction would be, even if that resulted in relegation, that pain cannot be compared to the offence caused by these actions.

In the case of Millwall, I'm not so sure. I didn't see what the fans did, but I am tempted to say that Hell Hadji deserves everything he gets. This is a man who has spat on supporters and players alike, who made obscene gestures after scoring a penalty and who has recently been beaten up in toilets after becoming abusive in a bar. If the gestures were crudely racist, then the same punishment should apply, but if they were specifically targeted at Diouf because of who, rather than what, he is, then I suspect you have to cut some slack!

If I had my way, we would chuck Diouf out along with the racist bath water!

  1. I'd be interested to know your views on the scum who chose to post a photo of a severed pigs head above an article about an Islamic bank who recently bought a championship club.

  4. Oh dear, how low can you stoop in your hatred of Leeds. Condoning racism now. Have you not watched what these Millwall fans were shouting? It was an absoloute disgrace, any black person withjin earshot would have been highly offended.

For gods sake man you are pathetic, any form of racist abuse at football is wrong. What are you on, you disgust me.

  5. Sky shown videos of him being racially abused.
Nobody, regardless of their past, should be racially abused

    1. Typical racist reponse.

Why write an article in the first place if your not aware of the facts.

  8. Some of you clearly did not read the line "If the gestures were crudely racist, then the same punishment should apply". Oh dear. Read want you want to read as usual.

    2. So you haven't seen the event and are commenting on something you know nothing about, purely because it allows you another sly dig at LUFC? And because he's been a bad lad in the past deserves racial abuse??

I quote 'I didn't see what the fans did, but I am tempted to say that Hell Hadji deserves everything he gets.'

So by that reckoning any Jewish person who'd behaved like an idiot deserves to be mocked by your lot about the gas chambers then?

I 100% agree with you that at the very least a 6 point penalty should apply in all racism cases. Why should banning your fans mean you don't get a points deduction? Your lot allowed it to happen. You should be punished. You incessantly bang on about how us Leeds are animals and reference Hilsbrough earlier this year (a game I attended) to validate your point, yet your no better!

Whilst were on 'reading what you want' this obviously does not apply to your good self when your whining on about what has and hasn't been said in press conferences from LUFC, when your constantly commenting on how skint we are and how we can't afford anyone?

The majority of what you write is generally very sensible, and to a point contains a certain amount of truth. Trouble is you don't half slip some contradictory bollocks in there when it suits...

    3. Is that a mistake HF?? 'Read want you want' Surely a man of your calibre should not be making mistakes in four letter words!? I know you will be very upset with yourself, just thought i would point it out as i know you like to point out other peoples.

Before you point out any I may have made, dont bother! I dont care or profess to have fantastic spelling/grammar.

  10. If you didn't see the abuse Diouf got, why bother commenting?

Somehow this awful blog makes an appearance on a Leeds site (probably as LUFC are constantly mentioned as the writers seem mildly obsessed (FYI, West Ham's are scarcely mentioned by anyone connected with Elland Road)).

For once, though, I thought something sensible had been written on this site. Then I read the penultimate paragraph. The abuse Diouf got was clearly racist and was, quite frankly, disgusting. Like I said, if you're too lazy to research what happened, don't bother commenting. But, since you did, I should point out you've made yourself look very stupid. I'd be surprised if you (even as someone who contributes to this pathetic site) would wish to in any way condone what was shouted at Diouf.

Have a look and let me know if you think it's acceptable.

  11. I'm sure this is saying that racism is ok and is no different that any thing written on a social media site - so in keeping with the law shouldn't you be getting a call from the police for enticing racism???

  12. I am staggered that you haven't seen the footage - it was on the web for Sky - and we all know you troll through every Leeds article on the web just to see if you can copy and paste then add a bit of slur, to try to make something interesting to post, usually failing miserably.
This cannot be seen as banter, just pure hate and racism.

As for the FA taking points off WHU? What?!? and put them at a disadvantage and possible relegation....no,no,no...just take some cash off them, but make it up to them by gifting them a stadium later. It will be so empty, you could give the racists their own section (like the upper tier).

    1. why should the racists get the upper tier and closer to the action? give them the lower tier and let them crane their necks skywards!

  13. agreed it seemed you had a sensible thing to say, but your a racist mate deep deep down, you dont spit vile statements but your venom comes from deep down. why do you think Diouf is like he is the constant banter and foul language heard on the terraces is constant. And being a Leeds fan its bad at ER as well, throwing bananas goes way back, but at least we can admit our mistakes. and yes our idiots have been brought to task, so just think about what you write.

  14. Hammerfraud at 16.10,why do you correct peoples spelling yet post replies full of errors? Also why do you post what has already been reported? Do you think folk flock to your site for the latest news? "i'll ignore bbc, itv, sky and reuters and see what the news is on hammerfrauds site". In your head son,in your head.

  15. Why don't you read The E&D act 2010, you idiot!

  16. Diouf should be disiplined for wrongful actions just as every other player should be but rasism is racism. Your comment about not seeing this racism incident on TV puts you in the Wenger mould.

    ReplyDelete
  17. In the nicest possible way...you should probably take a look at it before saying its acceptable

    ReplyDelete
  18. Is this 'Pretend not to be racist day' so you can have an unbelievably tenuous cheap shot at Diouf? Have a word with yer sen and then go take your face for a shit.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Will you write another article in response having seen the readily available footage on YouTube?

Just as a pointer, it's generally regarded as good practice to do ALL your research BEFORE you write the article, then you don't have to back track/ correct any mistakes.

    Carry on.

  20. Your just as bad as the racist fans you talk about it wasn't long ago you described one of our black players with a racial comment!!!!!! Then had to change it !!!!! Scumbag!! Or did you think we had forgotten ? The racist millwall fans and racist west ham fans should be put in a cage to kick shit out of each other with you in the middle

  24. It's difficult to see how a club can be blamed for random acts of racism like the two recently investigated or the one perpetrated by you today at 15:44 on your site.

The perpetrators should be arrested as it's a criminal act. Simple.

  25. Just watched the video, unbelievable !!!! , hammers fan you really are a tosser.

  26. I thought for once? your making sense but the more I read? the more obvious it became that (as we all know ) its a case of any excuse for you to have an uneducated pop at Leeds. Bad idea as you have made it very clear that you are at the very least? deluded but we are all so happy for you that you have got the attention you crave. Well done.
