Sorry, the headline is a little Tonge in cheek. Warnock promised to bring in a player this week and it is none other than Michael Tonge, who was at the club anyway!
GFH Capital are pushing the boat out financially, after the clubs have agreed a "nominal fee". And Tonge is perfect for Warnock, of course, having been schooled in the subtle footballing arts by Pulis at Stoke City.
That rumoured eight million pound transfer warchest isn't burning a hole in Warnock's pocket is it?
haha mate your articles are brilliant keep them coming !! we all love leeds eh ?
ReplyDeletesad man lol
ReplyDeleteJog on COCKney Leeds fan . Mot
ReplyDeleteThought this wasn't a leeds blog site? Last 10 stories about leeds!!! You are a clown! Least we didn't sign Joe Cole for silly money and wages to watch him get splinters in arse as he goes from injury to injury! Or Andy Carroll who's scoring for fun at the moment!!! Your obsessed!
ReplyDeleteHappy with Tonge meself, thought he put in some great performances. Move on hf this is just desperate attentio seeking.
ReplyDeleteI agree,Tonge isn't exactly the marquee type of signing we are looking for, but he performed well while on loan!Another point hf we(leeds) cannot compete with prem. and cash rich clubs in this division! and won't! wait to see what happens when the fair play rules kick in, because both leicester and cardiff will be foooked if they are not promoted! There income is no way near there expenditure the books don't balance!!Fact
ReplyDeleteYou love it Trevor dont you!!!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteIll burn a hole in your head. Numty
ReplyDeleteAre you the LUFC supporters club, london branch?
ReplyDeleteAllyou talk about is us. You'll be getting a whippet next!
GFH's boat is sinking fast £8 million wont be burning a hole in Warnock's pocket because they GFH haven't got a dime...We'll have Tonge so we cant complain' now can we'' lol...
ReplyDeleteWell it's forecast for snow over the next week so that should finish off one half of the w,ham ownership. You'll be lucky to sign Michael Brown when the cash cow goes with him.
ReplyDeleteNot funny 11:50.Have respect.
DeleteTed B.
If he 'that is Hammer FAN' did a Ted it would Moult my heart
DeleteFor someone who doesn't support leeds you seemed compled to write a lot about them.
ReplyDeletehf i enjoy reading your blog but this was a bit predictable mate. at least try!
ReplyDeleteFor God's sake get off their back.
ReplyDeleteHahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha u twat
ReplyDeletecome on cheer up!
ReplyDeletehe's a decent player thats what counts
Promotion or bust this year for Leeds. Investors need a return!
ReplyDeleteAs a life long Leeds fan ive seen a tremendous amount of talent come in and out of Elland rd. Weve got one of the best youth producing farms in the country or at least we did have, even if we did sell them all eventually. When we were relegated from the old 2nd division to the third who could really believe that? But you drive on dust yourself off, we were still out gating most prem clubs week in week out. I could write for ages but not to bore you to death, the long awaited takeover yesssssss, erm not so much as yet anyway. As I see it sales down 50% etc etc gates at all time low in steps the Arabs. The very first thing they should of done or should be doing now and it should be headline news. Heres there first new player, and it should be a fuckin goodun none of this shit currently coming in to collect their pension. Haigh one side, star in the middle patel on the other boom inpact and youve now earnt a bit of respect from the people that actually hold up your business the fans. Fuck me I do waffle on sorry just woke up and havnt had a cuppa yet, better shower and get ready for work.
ReplyDeleteCan i ask you a question, which football team do you support i am a little confused ?
ReplyDeleteTrue.... But still a prick!
ReplyDeletesad to say hf, you,ve got it right. a bit of hype from colin and co about a quick signing and lo and behold we get Tonge, feckin classic.
ReplyDeleteAs usual you get the facts wrong.
ReplyDeleteTonge wasn't "at the club anyway". His loan spell ran out pre 2013 which means he was at Stoke when we bought him....maybe just a technicality in your writing but all the same it's always nice to put one over on you.
Keep writing about Leeds....you closet Leeds fan
MOT
Sorry to burst your plastic bubble, but you really are clueless. Tonge went back to Stoke in December, so he wasn't already here, and he was still technically a Stoke player you buffoon. Every Leeds fan knew he'd be the first probable signing anyway.
ReplyDeleteCutting edge blog mate - well done you. Can't wait for the next thrilling instalment of highbrow, razor-sharp wit and banter. Yaaaawwwwwnnnnnnnn.
ReplyDeleteI don't say "already", I say "who WAS at the club anyway". I think you will find he WAS at Leeds.
ReplyDeletePleb
DeleteThis is my favourite comment of all time :)......... because i feel exactly the same way :(
ReplyDeleteThe chairman of West Ham is seriously ill in hospital and all you can do is trudge through Leeds United Sites, spouting your usual shite
ReplyDeletewhat a waster...
Coming from the person whos club signed Chamakh..
ReplyDeleteLeeds have signed a premiership player who is under 30
ReplyDeleteyou cant have it all ways !
Erm, he's not a Premiership player, that's the point. If he was, Stoke would not let him go for a nominal fee, and if they were happy to do so, a Premiership club would snap him up. You are feeding off the swill of the Prem. And he is 30 on April 7 of this year so to call him "under 30" whilst technically correct is missing the point somewhat. He will be 33 by the time his contract expires, and as Pulis can confirm, he aint good enough for the Prem!
DeleteTruth is, he's a Warnock old boy.
This is too easy but i'll go ahead anyway just to show once again you know piss all about football. I don't know if you've noticed but Tonge is a midfielder and they tend to get bypassed at Stoke. Tonge is certainly premier league class and i'd have him instead of your mark noblet any time. And that Chamakh, what a laugh, the mackems will tear w,ham apart on saturday. David gold will turn in his grave.
Deletewas vaz te a prem player ?
DeleteSo you are a wet sham supporter slating tony pulis's "subtle" footballing methods? Remind me again, who is your manager?
ReplyDeleteLet me answer it then. You! ; )
ReplyDeleteCould the reason the plastic hammer is churning out so many Leeds blogs lately is because of the public humiliation he received at the hands of 13.44 the other day? The plastic hammer had to resort to his full repertoire of cliched insults after receiving a right verbal kicking once again. Clearly it got his hackles up.
ReplyDeletefact
ReplyDeleteHe has played in the prem and England under 21's
He is 2 years younger than your OLD boy Joe Cole
The fact he is under 30 is technically correct? - im afraid it is correct on ALL LEVELS matey...except in the mystic HF world..ha
and yes HE WILL GET OLDER WITH TIME - you managed to work that one out!,
Gordon Strachan was 35 when he won the title with Leeds, and what a glorious title it was...think you got relegated that season?
Feeding off the swill of the prem is better than we are used to ! ha ha
Tonge this, Leeds that, you bloody love us

How to stop your Leeds obsession
ReplyDeleteWell done but you already so this.....it is your blog...
"Keep a journal just for your obsessive thoughts. Once you have written about what is hounding your mind go on to do something else. Writing about your obsession will not totally wipe out that anxiety, but it will lessen the relentlessness of it."
"Stop yourself from reacting to obsessive thoughts and this will reduce obsessive thinking. A good example: when you get ready to leave the house, if you feel the need to check the front door to make sure it is locked, allow yourself to check it only twice today. Tomorrow, check it only once. Do this type of exercise with your obsessions and over time you will find they will become less intense. With each success you will feel more in control. This is called behavioral therapy."
"Try family therapy. Getting your family involved will give you support and help. Once they learn about your disorder and understand what you are trying to do, they can help remind you of the treatment and planned outcome. Get your closest friends in on this too. The more support you have the better."
"Spend more time with family and friends. An obsessive disorder can lead to isolation. Don't allow this to happen."
I hope things improve for you soon xxx

I cannot understand what sort of perverse moron wants to spend time on the internet writing witless comments about a team he clearly has no fondness for...Its like having a job you don't like and putting in the overtime to fcuk it up for the employer..
ReplyDeleteMaybe a west ham story would be good...
Why is it that you only ever get just a few comments on your w,ham blogs?
