Newcastle Fancy Nicking Leeds United's Ross McCormack from West Ham

So, Newscastle are the latest club to be linked with Leeds United captain Ross McCormack. As a West Ham fan, I wish Newcastle well because I really don't think the guy is worth anywhere near eight million. Three yes. But not a penny more!

The big question is, why would Newcastle be interested? I mean the guy isn't French is he?

But then maybe the club aren't that interested, maybe it just Pardew who has had his fancy tickled.

Is there a Mrs McCormack?

And is she a looker?

  2. Unproven in the Prem Pete. Not done it at international level either. Two good seasons in his entire career and they were playing against rankish opposition. If Leeds get eight million, the club will be laughing all the way to the bank. He will be a squad player in the Prem, nothing more, and may bomb out completely like Becchio. It's a huge gamble for the buying club!

  3. Half of what Andy Carroll was procured for ?? I think you have no idea.

Any way, good luck with next year and not competing for any cups and midtable obscurity.

  6. I'm sure his agent is contacting any Premier club in preference to Allardyce's hoofball. Newcastle would certainly be a step up from West Ham.
Lets cash in and good luck to Ross, he's been great

  8. Well, he'd have to think twice about this offer as Newcastle are a big club, He wouldn't be even remotely interested in any offer to play for pertutual strugglers West Ham

  9. hf you so see through, making out like you're not bothered that little West ham may lose out! Reality check! Ross would never go to your club!

  10. As much as we need Ross's goals we'd be mad to turn down £8m offer. That money would get Leeds back in the black (almost)

  13. Who was the last striker to score almost 30 goals in a season at championship level and be worth only 3 million? Think you got to go back 15 years. You are out of touch. He better than Carroll.

  15. Agreed for once, just a bench warmer in prem, and a club that wins sweet bugger all just like wet spam, why on earth would he want to go to either club that has no ambition, his only chance is if he does sign for mediocre and use it as a stepping stone .... if he can score a hat full ..... and I would take 8 million gratefully

  16. Leeds owe money all over the place and other places as well. They can't expect a new owner to take it on whilst carrying on the same way. Ross rightly wants his go in the prem and 8 million would be damned good business.
