Warnock Deserves Medal For Achievements At Leeds

Well, that's what Old Big Gob reckons anyway. His predecessor, Grayson, was sacked with Leeds sitting four places higher in the table than Warnock's old nags currently sit, but no matter; Neil is still claiming he should be honoured for his efforts over the last 12 months.

Who has he lost from Grayson's team? Becchio, but Leeds were only one place higher in the table when he departed. And Snodgrass. But Warnock has otherwise fashioned the team to his own liking.

He chose to waste money on Kenny, Pearce, Green and Peltier. There were other options, but Warnock hunted down that quartet, and added Hell Hadji, Brown, Norris, Tongue, Drury, Ashdown and Varney. I may have forgotten a few, but that's eleven players for starters. This is his team and the record book shows that his team is worse than Grayson's. And he has now added Morison, Haribo and Warnock Junior.

The fans took a long time to wake up to the fact that the Emperor has no clothes, blaming Bates, but now Warnock's todger is hanging loose and wrinkled for all to see and the howls of derision are getting louder by the game

But Warnock still wants that medal and probably still hankers after a statue. Revie? Wilkinson? Who are they? How can they compare with Warnock? In his mind at least!

  1. You know nothing but make a lot of noise.
Warnock was not given what he was promised and has done as well as anyone could under the circumstances.
To judge a manager on half a season coping with half the resources he expected is wrong but you're obviously the type of person who just likes a moan but you just picked the wrong target.
GFH and Bates ruined this season by procrastinating over the takeover but will avoid all blame if people like you help turn Warnock into the scapegoat.

  2. You're conversing via your rectum.
Given half a season and a depleted purse he's done ok.
Our owners, new and old, ruined this season because of the takeover fiasco.

  4. Compare Warnocks net transfer outlay to the 11 clubs above him over the last 12 months. Btw you missed Howson and a month of Gradel from your list (minor details obviously).

  10. Another shabby boring article...you are far more deluded than Warnock will ever be...at least people listen to his words and he has achieved more in football in one hour than your pointless existence will ever be able to aspire to....bore off dweeb.

  11. I've got loads of medals for winning tennis tournaments bcuz i'm a semi-pro don't you know.

Once i played the legend that is Andrew Castle & was narrowly beaten 6-0 6-0 over two eagerly fought sets. It was for charity & Castle was absolutely magnificent on the day returning at will my thumping 20 mph serves.

Anyhow, anyone fancy a game of tennis down in Watford with King Jonty ?

Come on folks let's play tennis & forget about our beloved LUFC for now.

First serve, foot fault & overhead smash - JONTY wins again !!!!

  24. Warnock had the same problem as Grayson: trying to work with Bates / GFBates: asset-stripping shysters. The team that got us out of L1 should have been good enough for promotion to the PL with 2 or 3 extra signings, but we're now left with a team that is incapable of achieving anything. It doesn't matter who the next manager is, because the outcome will be the same as long as GFBates are there. Tragic, but true.
