Leeds Robbed By Lousy Referee

Old Big Gob is seething. His Leeds United super club were robbed today by a badly positioned referee and a hopeless assistant. The management maestro showed his class when criticising young Byram for a "school boy error" - nothing like assassinating a teenager who has been your most consistent performer all season  - before spitting his dummy in the direction of the officials.

Losing had nothing to do with failing to retain leading scorer Becchio apparently - except in Warnock's words "We missed open goals" - it was all down to Awayer Officials as Old Big Gob explained: "Dean...didn't see the handball, when we all appealed, because he was in a bad position and should have been in a better one. He had three or four bodies in the way. The linesman could have helped him out, but they don't, do they. Then there was another handball in the 93rd minute that wasn't given."

It is amazing how many points Leeds have lost this season down to poor decisions by the officials. In fact, if you listen to Warnock, it is clear that Leeds would now be running away with the division but for referee and assistant referee errors. Warnock, of course, as he reluctantly admits, is doing a brilliant job, it's just the clowns with the whistles and flags who are making him look mediocre.

Poor Neil. He did such a great job in the January transfer winner - and he asked us to judge him after the window had closed - and his team had most of the ball today. It is so unfair that a stupid kid and twatish officials cost him the three points his expertise deserved.

Still, twelfth place isn't bad. Leeds are only four places below where they were when Warnock took over 12 months ago! Damn those useless officials!

  1. "I thought Mike Dean was brilliant" - Warnock

Seems like your article is again suffering from a distinct lack of balance or credibility

We can all edit to make any viewpoint seem valid
I have just done the same as you!

  2. This from the fraud whose post after the Fulham defeat was full of blame for the ref who scored all 3 Fulham goals, turned down at least 7 west ham penalty appeals then reposessed the houses of the eleven losing players.

    1. 22.55,you are so right. Also look at the trouble armchair goes to to try and wind people up. Hours spent on research,7 Leeds blogs since wednesday and not only reading, approving all the comments but replying under various aliases aswell as in his own name. Wound up like a clock and apoplectic over Warnock coming to Leeds.

  12. I have noticed that Warnock always claims of bad referee, or somethibg else but its time to us Leeds-fans to admit that WARNOCK is not good enough.I have have been watching this blog in I must say Hammersfan doing a great to about wrighting this stof, its right on spot and he only tells us the true story about Leeds. Its miserables all the way from owners and Warnock. Its a big disappointning all this about Leeds. No one dare to say the way Hammersfan does. Sorry for my bad english

    1. Idiot or not, Both I and HF see that this is NOT looking good. I ahve been a Leeds-supporter since early eighties and no it all seems so hopeless and all facts about Warnock and the owners, the new ones and not for mentioned Bates. Is he out of Leeds!!!!!!!!!!!!!? We dont play better fotball since Grayson was sacked and the table is not lying either than its still bad as it was fore a year ago. If we dont get some money to buy players in summer and a new man instead of Warnock, well our attendance will suddently drop near 10 000 or less, people dont want see rubbish play from such a big club which Leeds are suppose to be...

  13. It's a tad ironic that some call it a successful transfer window when we get rid of our leading (proven) goal scorer. The ghost of Bates is still lurking in that deal. The excuses will keep coming. Stay optimistic - there's always the next game!
