Flowers shows the extent of his love for Leeds United and the fans


It goes from bad to worse! With Massimo looking more and more likely to pass the Fit & Proper Crook test, news has now broken of a winding up order for non payment of debt, issued by Andrew Flowers no less. You know, that guy who is trying to block Cellino's bid because it's not in the best interests of the club. Interesting. So how exactly does an application to wind up the club help exactly?

This is, of course, the same Andrew Flowers who is heading up a consortium with David Haigh, the Managing Director appointed by present owners GFH Capital who is presumably the very man responsible for not repaying the loan and the 7% interest! With consortium partners like that, the future would look very interesting indeed should Sport Capita wrestle control of the club away from Massimo!

What a bloody mess. Poor Leeds fans don't know which way to turn. In the Reds corner is a former director of the hated Manchester United; in the blue corner, an Italian fraudster; and in the Whites corner, an employee of GFH Capital and a guy seeking to enforce payment of a debt by threatening to force the club into administration.

Talk about Hobson's choice!

    I said this would be the outcome a few weeks back on another Leeds site. Back administration would be the end of the club because it looks like the people fighting for control of the club are just there for the money and not the future of the football club.

    They are all wasters.

    We won´t ever be back in the top league with idiots like this.

    A winding up order means that the court can seize assets so Cellino can't take over.that gives together leeds time to do a deal.flowers is part of together leeds,it's a stalling tactic.

    Cellino payed the wages last Friday,that should have been payed by that CROOK David HAIGH. gates are up on average of 27.000 from 19.000 do the maths ,hes chief executive.

      Good point (22.58) 8,000 a match equates to around £240K gross. x23 matches= £5.5. mill. increase. (and there losing money!)???

    This lot GFH (God F**k*** Help us,) are worse than Father Xmas. Posh Boy Haigh and the other one, are only interested in themselves. Sir Alec Ferguson, Gary Neville, David Beckham and others in my opinion care more about Leeds United than they do. Sorry to swear. The Insurance salesman is also a false prophet. Cellino is a ducker and diver. He at least knows football. If he is prepared to bankroll Leeds with a plan to get them back to the top division in English football and win things, yes win trophies, would it not be refreshing. Time of money, time for stability, time for Leeds to be moving forward. No more penny pinching, welcome Cellino, so long as he moves the club forward.
